Performance of LINIT U-profiled glass

Thermal insulation

A standard LINIT U-profiled glass, fitted as single glazed, provides a U-value of
5.6 W/mēK, and  2.8 W/mēK double glazed.
Using LINIT "1.7 W" U-profiled glass with a low-emissivity coating allows for
U-values of 1.8 W/mēK to be achieved. The online coating features high chemical
resistance to industrial waste gases and other corrosive substances, and is bonded
scratch-resistant to the glass. Depending on the light radiation situation, interference
phenomena may occur in certain cases, but this does not mean any loss of quality;
rather, it is a significant feature of the high quality of LINIT "1.7W".

Transparent insulating materials (TIM) secured in the hollow space between
LINIT U-profiled glass (LINIT TWD) provide the user with attractive modules with
U-values for the entire glass system from about 0.7 W/mēK to 1.5 W/mēK, which
can be flexibly combined to meet the requirements of the individual building.
The concept of transparent heat insulation (LINIT TWD) can also be modified in
such a way that the capillary insert (TIM) introduced between the LINIT U-profiled
glass strips is provided with a special sun-protecting non-woven fabric, which per-
ceptibly reduces the solar energy radiation.
