Performance of LINIT U-profiled glass


Safety

To enhance safety properties still further, LINIT glass types can be provided with 
longitudinal wires.  
LINIT can also be toughened in lengths of up to 4,00 m; delivery times should be 
determined in good time. Because not all LINIT glass types are capable of being 
toughened, it is important to consult the manufacturer with regard to feasibility 
and delivery time in each case before an order is placed.


Light deflection

The standard roller LINIT "504" structure design provides excellent light diffusion, 
and has a spatial creation effect. Using the very smooth pattern "solar" which ap-
pears in a way similar to acid-etched glass, a very elegant and homogenious illumi-
nation of the rooms can be achieved.
The LINIT TWD System combines U-profiled glass normally with the special glass 
surface "solar"and the TIM capillary insert, which not only provides extra thermal 
insulation but also a particularly soft and deep diffusion of the light within the spa-
tial area.

The LINIT "PRISMASOLAR" system, patented by Lamberts, has the effect of deflec-
ting the light thanks to its special optical properties, which means that, in the ap-
propriate arrangement, it provides a specific improvement in spatial depth lighting.
