Performance of LINIT U-profiled glass

Aesthetics

The appearance of the original, attractive U-profiled glass facade can be enhanced
even further by additional modifications to the LINIT basic product.
LINIT "klar", without ornamentation, has already been described; as well as provi-
ding improved transparency, it also features, from certain viewing angles, optically
interesting "mirror effects".
When planning and implementing a design, it should be borne in mind that, because
of its special production process, LINIT "klar" is more difficult to cut than the normal
"504" structure, and should therefore basically be ordered in specified dimensions. In
addition the visual appearance differs from float glass.

The standard roller LINIT "504" structure design provides excellent light diffusion,
and has a spatial creation effect.
Using the very smooth pattern "solar" which appears in a way similar to acid-etched
glass a very elegant and homogenious illumination of the rooms can be achieved.
In addition to the sun control aspect already mentioned, the slight frosted white sur-
face of sandblasted LINIT U-profiled glass also makes it well-suited for use as purely
decorative glass.

Acoustic

For facades (over 9 mē in area), conventional LINIT double glazing provides sound-
proofing values of about 36-37 dB; and flexible modifications to the structure mean
that even higher values can be achieved if desired.
