1. LINIT glazing technique

The choice of LINIT glass types is largely influenced by the statics requirements of the individual application situation. If the statics calculations indicate that several LINIT types are suitable for the requirements of the particular building, the planner can of course select the type which appeals to him most from the aesthetic point of view. National construction regulations must be strictly respected.

Types of glass arrangement The statics calculations will usually require the following details from the planner as a minimum: The building type (open, closed building, etc.); dimensions of the areas of glass; ar- rangement of the glass areas in the building (if appropriate, any special features wh- ich might exert an influence on the statics); maximum installation lengths desired; design loads (wind/snow etc.); other load values.

The relevant national construction regulations relating to statics (among others, also those relating to corner and edge areas) and design are to be respected in every in- stance of planning and implementation!
