4. Installing the aluminum frames

The basic elements of the LINIT aluminium frame system:

The relevant national construction regulations relating to statics (among others, also
those relating to corner and edge areas) and design are to be respected in every in-
stance of planning and implementation!

Selecting the framing profiles

The LINIT aluminium installation system is an open glazing system. In principle, a
distinction is made in terms of standards between the LINIT System 60 (installation
depth: 60 mm) and the LINIT System 83 (installation depth: 83 mm). The allocation
of System 60 or 83 is based on the flange dimensions of the glass profiles:

Once the appropriate frame system has been chosen, a choice can be made between
LINIT aluminium framing profiles produced with or without thermal insulation. Detailed
decisions regarding the bottom profiles to be used (with/without window sill, window sill
dimensions, etc.) and the top profiles (normal, strengthened, extended) must be clari-
fied subsequently.

For the LINIT special glazing systems, the Connceting System, Shed Roof Glazing,
Horizontal Glazing, and Curved Glazing, there are special profiles available. A matter
for final decision is the surface formation of the aluminium profiles (plain pressed,
E6/EV1-anodized, RAL-coated, special colour-coated).
