6. Inserting the glass profiles
Inserting LINIT U-profiled glass into LINIT aluminium framing profiles:
The LINIT aluminium framing profiles already secured are provided with plastic inlay
profiles, forming part of the system, or LINIT setting blocks, so as to avoid direct
contact between the glass and the aluminium.
LINIT U-profiled glass is then inserted into the circumferential LINIT aluminium frame
by using "shuffle-glazing" principles:
1. Carefully introduce the LINIT U-profiled glass diagonally into the top
framing profile OSP, and bring the glass into a vertical position.
2. Slowly and carefully lay the glass onto the plastic insert (inlay profile).
3.+4. Repeat the process with the second glass strip.
Inserting the glass profiles:
Replacing defective glass strips
In the event of glass breakage in the facade, the damaged pieces can be removed
by applying this procedure in the reverse order, and replaced by new glass strips.
